After many years on Herøya, TS Academy takes the plunge and opens a new competence center in Versvikvegen in Porsgrunn – co-located with the head office of TS Group.
The competence center is part of an initiative to provide industrial courses in the Grenland region. With a central location in Versvikvegen, the center provides courses in mechanical, electrical and safety. The premises also provide a good framework for practical training and meeting places for players in the region's industrial environment.
The first courses have already been completed, with good feedback from participants at the new premises.
Changing industrial expertise
In connection with the opening, TS Group, in collaboration with Grenland Næringsforening and Odd's partner network, invites you to the event "Industrial Competence in Change" on April 9 at Versvikvegen 6B in Porsgrunn.
The evening will focus on how the industry is developing, and which competence needs will be crucial in the future. With skilled presenters from both government and business, there will be professional presentations, reflections and a closing panel debate.
Among the speakers are Minister of Energy Terje Aasland, representatives from Equinor, Yara and TS Group.
We will serve food and drinks and facilitate an evening filled with good conversations and networking.
