TS Site Services has performed mobile machining at Klosterfoss power plant, as part of the renovation of one of the dam gates – in collaboration with Bilfinger, the main contractor for the rehabilitation work.
The assignment consisted of:
- Machining of bearing trestles on the dam.
- Partial machining of the boss on the dam hatch itself.
The goal: Facilitate new storage and ensure the dam's function for decades to come.
To reduce the implementation time, we used two mobile line drilling machines operating in parallel. The result was delivered on time, with a satisfied customer as the end point.
