It is always rewarding to be able to open the doors to those who facilitate the business community in the region where we have our home field. On Monday we had the pleasure of welcoming representatives from Porsgrunn Municipality to our office for an update on what we at TS Group do.
The delegation was given a tour of our workshop, where Geir Tøvik from TS Site Services explained how we work with specialized equipment that is sent out to customer locations for repairs — so they can avoid plant shutdowns. We also visited our new competence center to highlight the type of training we offer for Norwegian industry.
Since 2024, we have experienced unique growth. Our activity has doubled, as has the number of colleagues – and today we are proud to count around 450 employees.
For us, this is about more than just numbers and statistics; it is about safe jobs, the right expertise and a national presence with local roots. We are particularly proud of the many young skilled workers who apply to us, and who do important work out at the operating companies on land or at offshore installations along the entire coast.
When we as a company have the opportunity to meet with political representatives and business leaders, we can shine a spotlight on the challenges and opportunities facing the industry – and thereby take stock of where the path should go next. We have a common ambition: to secure jobs and strengthen value creation.
