Machine operator

TS Group delivers industrial services within staffing, courses and training, as well as mechanical maintenance to offshore and onshore industries through TS Site Services. We will strengthen the department in Bergen/Western Norway, with a skilled machinist.

As part of TS Site Services, you will work closely with leading players in the offshore and onshore industry, both in Norway and abroad. We are looking for someone who has experience with, or wants to develop themselves within, mobile machining, leak sealing and corrosion monitoring.

Typical tasks will involve:

• Use of mobile turning, cutting, drilling and milling equipment

• Leak sealing of process systems during operation

• Hydraulic bolt pretensioning of flange connections

• Mechanical work

• Corrosion monitoring

• Collaboration with engineers/project managers

The candidate we are looking for has:  

• A trade certificate as a machinist or industrial mechanic. Relevant experience within these fields can compensate for the lack of a trade certificate.

It is also an advantage if you are/have:

• Service-minded with a focus on good customer experiences

• Good language skills in Norwegian and English, both spoken and written.

• Flexible. You enjoy working both in a team and independently.
