Industrial Mechanic / Machine Worker – Technician and Supervisor in Bergen
TS Group provides industrial services within manpower , courses and training, as well as mechanical maintenance for offshore and land-based industries through TS Site Services. Now we want to strengthen our efforts in Bergen and Western Norway, with a skilled technician and supervisor in industrial mechanical disciplines.
As part of TS Site Services, you will work closely with leading players in the offshore and onshore industry, both in Norway and abroad. We are looking for someone who has experience with, or wants to develop themselves within, mobile machining, leak sealing and corrosion monitoring.
Typical tasks will involve:
- Use of mobile turning, cutting, drilling and milling equipment
- Leak sealing of process systems during operation
- Corrosion monitoring
- Hydraulic bolt pretensioning of flange connections
- Mechanical work
- Lamination with composite materials / "wrapping"
- Collaboration with engineers/project managers
For the position of Supervisor, experience from the above-mentioned tasks is expected, as well as a good understanding of HSE and proper execution. You will also contribute to the development of competence in the team and to ensure high professional quality in TS Site Services' deliveries. The role also includes overall responsibility for the workshop and warehouse in Bergen.
The candidates we are seeking have/are:
- A trade certificate as an industrial mechanic or machine operator. Relevant experience within these fields can compensate for the lack of a trade certificate.
- Experience from the process industry and/or mechanical industry
- Courses in bolting, valves, rigging and GSK for offshore operations.
- Good language skills in Norwegian and English, both spoken and written.
- Service-minded with a focus on good customer experiences
- Flexible. You enjoy working both in a team and independently.
