TARGET GROUP:

Operations personnel, process operators, electricians, automation engineers.

For mechanical personnel, a 4-day flange course in accordance with NS-1591-4 is recommended.

 

CONTENTS:

The course covers preparation, planning, HSE, execution and documentation of work during flange assembly with bolting of flange connections on high-pressure and hydrocarbon-carrying process systems. The focus will be on mechanical torque wrenches, disassembly procedures, alignment procedures and assembly procedures.

Documentation, job packages, tension tables, gasket theory and bolt theory.

 

Summary of theory, exam and simple practical exam.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Prerequisites

Must have documentation of valid course:

Mechanical Torque Wrench NS1591-4

Or 4-day completed Flange course according to NS1591-4
