TARGET GROUP:

Operations personnel, process operators, electricians, automation engineers.

For mechanical personnel, a 4-day flange course in accordance with NS-1591-4 is recommended.

CONTENTS:

The course covers preparation, planning, HSE, execution and documentation of work during flange assembly with bolting of flange connections on high-pressure and hydrocarbon-carrying process systems. The focus will be on mechanical torque wrenches, disassembly procedures, alignment procedures and assembly procedures.

Training and safe use of mechanical torque wrenches. (Norsok L004. A little about Stahlwille and Polar wrenches, as well as practical exercises on jigs)
Troubleshooting and cleaning (Theory and practice around troubleshooting flanges and damage to sealing surfaces, etc.)
Documentation and HSE (Work packages, Valve and blinding list, Control and activity form, Pull notes, Pull tables, Sensor form)
Documents used are generally aimed at course equipment. Job packages designed for course flanges, RF, RTJ, NCF5 and clamp connections.

Post-check and Overdraw (Theory around the desired result and how to avoid overdrawing
