This is a course about electrical installations in potentially explosive areas.
Our goal is to ensure that employees are motivated to work safely and securely.
After completing the course, they will have sufficient knowledge to be able to participate in the installation of Ex equipment and perform inspection and maintenance in a safe manner.
The participants' learning goals are to have an understanding of:
- The general principles of explosion protection
- Area classification and zoning
- Gas groups and the relationship between area and equipment
- Temperature classes and the relationship between area and equipment
- The general principles of type of protection and marking
- Inspection and maintenance in explosive environments
- How maintenance work is carried out in explosive environments
- What the participant can do themselves and what must be sent to an authorized workshop
