The authorities require basic safety certification for people who will operate bridge and overhead cranes. The requirements include both theoretical and practical training.
The authorities require basic safety certification for people who will operate bridge and overhead cranes . The requirements include both theoretical and practical training.
This course provides bridge and overhead crane operators with good theoretical basic training in the safe use of bridge and overhead cranes.
The course includes the following topics:
- Construction, structure
- Operation, use
- Safety equipment
- Inspection and maintenance
To be issued a certificate of competence from SFS ( Central Register for Safety Training) , one must have completed 16 hours of practice with a final practical exam/training. This training can be completed with us.
Alternatively, this can be done in your own business, provided that an agreement is made with a training company regarding sponsor training. The participant and the sponsor must complete training module 4.7 and document at least 40 hours of practice in this module. After documented practice, you can register for a practical exam/preparation with us and be issued a certificate of competence.
Prerequisites: The course requires certified G11 Lifting Equipment (straps and hooks, Modules 1.1 and 2.3.).
