Laboratory Technician – onshore assignment at Mongstad
TS Group delivers industrial services within manpower , courses and training, mechanical maintenance and modifications. The group has order reserves exceeding NOK 4 billion, divided into long-term and predictable contracts aimed at the most important players in both the offshore and onshore industries. TS Group is located in Grenland, Molde and Bergen, has Norwegian ownership and employs approximately 450 competent employees.
We are seeking a candidate for Equinor's onshore facility at Mongstad.
The tasks will include analyzing samples from production and auxiliary facilities, following up on environmental samples and ensuring emission control, as well as performing simple maintenance of instruments, sampling and other laboratory work as required.
The position is during the day, 7 a.m.–3 p.m., and it is a prerequisite that you live near the facility or within commuting distance.
The contract period is 31.05.2026-30.12.2027.
Qualifications:
- A certificate in a laboratory subject, or a certificate in chemistry, biochemistry and process. If you have a certificate in chemistry and process, you must show experience in a laboratory subject.
- Good understanding of risk.
- Good interpersonal skills and willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of instruments would be an advantage.
